It’s important to remember that good skincare starts within, maintaining a healthy and balanced digestive system will promote healthy and balanced skin.

This Autumn elixir works to boost our metabolism with a fiery kick of ginger and turmeric and helps promote good gut health with unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Start your day with this simple and effective nourishing drink and feel your energy levels rise and skin glow.

Serves 1 -

1 tbsp unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar

  • Rich in probiotics which support good bacteria for a healthy, balanced digestive system.

Juice of half an organic lemon

  • For a dose of antioxidant rich Vitamin C which helps to fight free radicals, healing skin and providing a brighter complexion.

  • Lemon juice when metabolised by the body has an alkalising and balancing effect on our gut.

1 tbsp sliced raw organic ginger

  • As well as being anti-inflammatory and antioxidant rich, ginger helps to warm and wake up the body

1/2 tsp raw, local and organic honey

  • Energising and antibacterial, honey also acts as a soothing treatment for coughs and sore throats.

  • Local honey can also help hay fever sufferers to build up immunity to local pollen strains

Pinch of organic turmeric/cayenne

  • Antioxidant rich and metabolism boosting, these spices help to kickstart the body into gear.

Put all ingredients together in a cup or glass and top up with hot water, stir well and enjoy.
